Variomaster-13 flame Candle Holder by Caesar Stoffi & Fritz Nagel for Quist/BMF, Germany, 1970's

This set of thirteen Variomaster-3 flame candle holders was designed by Caesar Stoffi & Fritz Nagel and produced by Quist/BMF in West Germany during the 1970s. Made of nickel-plated metal, each modular holder can be stacked and arranged in a variety of configurations, creating sculptural and customizable compositions. The design reflects the playful, geometric aesthetic characteristic of mid-century German decorative arts.
