Pigreco Chairs by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Gavina, Italy, 1960's . Set of 6

The first product ever designed by the Italian architect, the Pigreco chair, was Tobia Scarpa’s graduation project at the University of Venice in 1959. Constructed from a single piece of bent wood, the Pigreco chair has a distinctive shape reminiscent of the Greek letter Pi, which inspired its name. The chair has a seamless design, with the backrest and the armrests forming a continuous, curved line, providing a unique and comfortable seating experience.
