Chelsea Dining Chairs by Introini, Saporiti 1966, Italy.

Newly lacquered and re-upholstered dining chair, Chelsea. Designed in 1966 for Italian design company Saporiti. The seats are supported on elegantly detailed chrome metal pins mounted to the top of each of the wood legs. This design was exhibited at the 1st Eurodomus international design exhibition curated by Gio Ponti and held in Genova, Italy in 1966. The Saporiti stand featuring these chairs was photographed in the July 1966 issue of Domus.
